Synopsis For Monthly Features

September issue of Comms Business
Market Report: Comms Platforms 50-100 Users
It’s roundup time once again but this time in the PBX and communications platform market. Specifically we would like to report on systems and applications in the 50 to 100 user sector. A number of new products were released in the last twelve months that target this ‘sweet spot’ and we want to hear how they are doing in the field. We’ll also report on where vendors and distributors think the market is going, the state of play with IP – and most importantly, what integrated applications they are providing for the channel. Reseller feedback is most welcome

Adding Value: SIP Trunks
With far more reliable and powerful broadband available we examine the increasing use of SIP trunks as a viable alternative to traditional lines and reveal the additional features and benefits they can provide. Specifically we ask: Are SIP trunks a viable alternative to ISDN or are they just cheaper? Should business use SIP trunks for mission critical comms or stick to ISDN? What exactly are the business continuity features of SIP truncks?

Mobile Comms: The Ideal Dealer Manager
A good vendor Dealer Account Manager can positively add value to a resellers’ business through pro-active management. We examine what exactly makes a good account manager and find some examples of best practice that goes over and beyond the normal call of duty.
